The Vest

The Vestsystem consists of an inflatable vest connected
by tubes to an air-pulse generator. The generator rapidly
inflates and deflates the vest, compressing and releasing
the chest wall up to 25 times per second. This technology
is called high-frequency chest wall oscillation (HFCWO).
The rapid chest movement mimics “mini-coughs”

A session with The Vest
system takes approximately
15-20 minutes).
The patient does not have to be repositioned
during therapy–  Therapy
can be administered to a patient
in
any position, even while sitting in a bedside chair.

Vests are disposable- single patient-use units.
